Surf Champ

After a brief internment in the Ju Ju Laboratories, Surf Champ, the 4 player version of Surfer, has made it’s debut on the floor. With a thorough cleaning, fresh bulbs and new rubber by our own Wizard, Bryan Copple, this is one fine example of a pin that has it all. In fact, it is the subject of our Visible Pinball machine project. Because it has a Spinner, Bumpers, Star Rollovers, Drop Targets, Kickout hole, Bonus, Double Bonus, Slingshots, Rollover Lanes, Triple Bonus and Specials, it became a good choice for the task of displaying the guts of an EM machine. Besides that, it is a very challenging game! The Art by Gordon Morison is better than usual. The detail in the waves is very good but as any surfer will tell you, not the kind you'd actually catch. It also begs the question, is that gray haired surfer actually Gordon, fantasizing that he'd be able to snag the blond beauty in the foreground? We hope you enjoy it as much as we do, its my current favorite.
