My Fourth Machine bought again from Rick Caviglia/Castro Valley. This is my current favorite and not because I still have the high score. I love the theme, the playfield and artwork, and it always reminds me of a cocktail lounge. I set it up for slightly slow play so it feels like you’re playing pinball underwater. This is a good beginners game because it gives you time to think about where you shoot the ball and is usually forgiving. Another short flipper game, no specials, no bonus, just points. The 5 bullseye targets at the top are lit and you must extinguish them. If you get them all out on one ball, a “Plateau” is lit and that correspondingly lites all the far left side features to score 300 points. After the first ball is played, one bullseye in unlit, and this continues down to the 4th and 5th balls where the only 2 targets you need to extinguish are easy flipper shots. This is great for competition as it makes comeback scores very feasible. When you get to the 4th plateau, this machine is lit up like a Christmas tree and rewards you with relatively gobs of points no matter where you go. A tilt disqualifies that player for that ball. My favorite machine all around.

Produced by Gottlieb, 1970. 2 players. 9.7 out of 10 on the Play-O-Meter

High Score 26,795 by Rob Powers on December 11, 2004
